It is likely that if you are a new patient to Dr Anticich's practice, you will need to see your General Practitioner (GP) or Nurse Practitioner first and request a referral to Dr Anticich. Referrals from another specialist to Dr Anticich are also accepted, and an additional referral from your GP or NP is not required in this circumstance
This is because most insurance companies require a referral letter from a health practitioner, to meet their pre approval criteria. Dr Anticich is a Southern Cross Affiliated Provider.
You do not have to have private health insurance for a consultation or to undergo an endoscopic procedure. Please contact reception for information regarding fees.
After the initial consultation if further appointments or procedures are required, an appointment can be made directly from the patient through reception at any time.
There is also an option of direct access endoscopic procedures. This means if preferred a patient requiring a gastroscopy or colonoscopy can have this arranged without the need for an initial consultation.
